Summary

We offer different refund windows depending on the type of product you purchased. The headline rules are:

  • Desktop apps: 14-day full refund, no questions asked.
  • WordPress plugins: 14-day full refund, no questions asked.
  • SaaS subscriptions: 14-day full refund on first purchase if no AI credits have been consumed; otherwise a pro-rated refund of unused credits within 14 days of first purchase. Cancel anytime to avoid future charges. Consumed AI usage is always non-refundable.
  • App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, or Mac App Store: refunds are handled by the platform you bought from, under their policy.

If your product page promised something we did not deliver, contact support within the refund window and we will refund in full. The detailed rules below apply to each product type.

One-time purchases

One-time purchases give you a perpetual licence to the version you bought, with 12 months of bug-fix and minor-version updates included. Examples: Mass Meme Generator Desktop, ProductSage, SupportSage (self-hosted).

  • Window: 14 days from the date of purchase.
  • Conditions: No questions asked. You do not need to justify the request.
  • On refund: Your license key is revoked. You must uninstall the software.
  • After 14 days: Refunds are only available where the software materially fails to perform as documented and we are unable to fix the defect within a reasonable time. In that case, we offer a fix-or-refund remedy for up to 90 days from purchase.

Annual licences

Annual licences are sold as 12-month subscriptions that include updates, support, and managed AI services where applicable. Examples: SG Lead Manager for WordPress, SG Niche Author for WordPress, SG Epic News Writer for WordPress, SG Content Repurpose for WordPress, SG Product Posts Generator for WordPress.

  • Refund window: 14-day full refund, no questions asked — applies to both first purchase and annual renewals. After 14 days the licence is non-refundable, but you can disable auto-renew at any time from your account to prevent the next charge.
  • On refund: The licence key is deactivated and the commercial licence on the plugin's non-PHP assets (JavaScript, CSS, images, premium templates, AI prompts and configurations) terminates. Updates, managed AI services, and support stop. The plugin's PHP code remains yours under GPLv2+ and the version installed on your site keeps running, but Pro features that depend on a valid licence key are disabled.
  • If your license expires without a refund: The version of the plugin installed at expiry keeps working, but Pro features that depend on a valid licence key are disabled. Updates and support stop. You may renew at the prevailing renewal rate (we typically offer 40% off the new-purchase price).

SaaS subscriptions

Our SaaS products are sold as monthly subscriptions. Some plans include a monthly allotment of AI credits, where one credit covers one AI inference call we route to upstream providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or OpenRouter) at our cost. Examples: MAGO, NicheSage, AgencySage, ArtSage, BookSage, NicheAuthor, MightSay, Covibe, Mass Meme Generator.

First-purchase refund

  • No AI credits consumed: Full refund within 14 days of first purchase. The SaaS subscription is cancelled and access ends immediately. This window matches the EU/UK statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and applies for as long as the subscription has not entered immediate performance — i.e. for as long as no credits have been consumed on your behalf.
  • Some AI credits consumed: Pro-rated refund of the unused credit value within 14 days of first purchase. Consumed AI usage is non-refundable; once you start consuming credits, the immediate-performance waiver in the EU/UK statutory rights section below applies to the consumed portion only.
  • Plans without metered AI credits: Full refund within 14 days of first purchase if no usage milestones (such as generated assets or sent campaigns) have been completed. Once a usage milestone is completed, the subscription has entered immediate performance and is non-refundable for the current billing period; cancel anytime to avoid the next renewal.

Renewals

Monthly renewal charges are non-refundable. To avoid the next renewal, cancel your subscription before the next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then.

Service issues and wasted credits

If a bug on our side or a service-wide outage caused AI credits to be consumed without delivering a usable result, contact support. We will restore the affected credits to your account on a case-by-case basis. Credit restoration is our standard remedy. We will consider cash refunds for substantial service failures on a case-by-case basis.

Always non-refundable

AI calls already routed to upstream providers are always non-refundable, because we have already paid the upstream provider for them. This is true regardless of how you used the output.

Purchases through the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, or Mac App Store

When you buy through a third-party store, your purchase contract is with the platform — Apple, Google, or Microsoft — not with us. Refund decisions, payment disputes, and the timing of any refund are governed by the platform's own policy. Contact the relevant store directly to request a refund. We can help with technical issues at [email protected].

  • Apple App Store and Mac App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Google Play: request a refund at play.google.com via the order history page.
  • Microsoft Store: request a refund at account.microsoft.com/orders.

If the platform issues a refund, your licence key (where applicable) is deactivated.

EU and UK statutory rights

If you are a consumer based in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content and services under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

For desktop apps, WordPress plugins, and other one-time-purchase and annual-licence products, our contractual refund window of 14 days from purchase meets or exceeds this statutory right of withdrawal in full. No waiver of the statutory right is required to obtain a refund within that window — see "How to request a refund" below.

For SaaS subscriptions that include AI inference credits, AI calls we route to upstream providers on your behalf are consumed and paid for in real time. By starting to use a SaaS product or by consuming any AI credits, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to credits already consumed on your behalf. This consent is recorded at checkout. The contractual SaaS first-purchase refund window is 14 days throughout: a full refund where no credits have been consumed, or a pro-rated refund of unused credits where some have, as described above.

Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the email address used at purchase, and include:

  • Your order number (from your purchase email).
  • The product name.
  • A short note on what happened (optional, but helps us improve).

We respond within 3 business days (Monday to Friday, UK hours). Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days.

Exceptions and abuse

We reserve the right to deny refunds and ban future purchases in cases of fraud, abuse, repeated refund-then-rebuy patterns, chargebacks raised without contacting us first, or breaches of our License Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
